Summer of Success

Summer of Success is designed to give School of Accounting and Finance (SAF) students a competitive advantage in September’s accounting recruitment season.

The event brings together representatives from various accounting firms who share their experiences with students through a formal networking session.

By participating, students gain a competitive edge for winter co-op opportunities while building lasting connections with professionals from their target firms.

SAF Month

School of Accounting and Finance Month is a two-day event designed to help students explore diverse career paths in the industry.

Day 1 – SAF Day features a meet-and-greet organized by TMA, TRFS, and TRIC, a panel with CPA and CFA representatives, and open networking opportunities.

Day 2 – Case Day includes a case competition where students apply the skills they’ve developed throughout the week.

Expanding Horizons

Expanding Horizons is designed to showcase accounting career opportunities beyond public accounting.

The event introduces students to the wide range of accounting roles available in the private sector.

CPAs working in industry will share their experiences in a moderated panel, offering insights into career paths outside public practice.

Rise to Advise

Rise to Advise is an event dedicated to helping students explore and shape their career paths. It features insightful panel discussions and Q&A sessions with industry professionals.

The event also includes a networking session, giving students the opportunity to learn about emerging trends in technology and prepare for the future of work.

Reach The Top

Reach The Top offers students an exclusive opportunity to visit Big Four downtown Toronto offices and gain valuable insights into the accounting profession.

The event features office tours, an interactive workshop, and a networking session where students can connect with professionals and explore career opportunities within the firm.
