What is CONNECT?
TMA’s CONNECT Mentorship Program fosters relationships between accounting students and professionals, supporting both personal and career growth. Through workshops, events, and resources, students develop skills in branding, communication, and confidence. Building on last year’s record of 41 mentors and 63 mentees, CONNECT continues to make a lasting impact on students’ careers.
CONNECT Kick-Off
The program begins with an engaging kickoff where mentors and mentees connect, build rapport, and set expectations. The event features a keynote, icebreakers, and activities that introduce key resources to foster a supportive mentorship environment.
Winter Wonderland
A new event introduced this year invites CONNECT mentees and SAF students to relax and build relationships within a community of future leaders. Students enjoy winter-themed games that boost festivity and morale while helping to relieve exam-related stress.
Mentor Appreciation Night
A gala celebrating and honouring the achievements of mentors and mentees as they complete their journey through the CONNECT Mentorship Program. The event offers opportunities to network, share stories, and strengthen relationships, inspiring future mentorship endeavours.
